Massachusetts Food Waste Ban
Backstory
My oldest son taught me about the value of municipal composting in 2014. He had studied Environmental Engineering at UVM later opening my eyes to Boston’s composting scene. The lesson coincided with Massachusetts officials hoping to get large food waste producing businesses and institutions like hotel chains, colleges and hospitals to compost.
